Wow, just wow. The conviction in your words jumps off the page my friend and I pray releases any stronghold that the new age may have on whoever is reading this. Powerful.

Thank you so much, Kathy! It’s always a tad daunting to talk about my old life before getting sold out for Jesus. That version of myself feels like a such a different person, and of course she is! Thank you for reading, and I pray that this post reaches the right people toO♥️

Love this!! Hugely resonate. Before I became a Christian, I was part of a big friend group, and one section of the group was really into Ouija. I only did it with them a few times but those experiences were lastingly creepy. Only really felt the gravity of it after I’d started following Jesus. Anyways, thanks so much for this vulnerability! It is so so appreciated :)

I was involved in new age also. I love how you don't condemn this lady, but thank her and love her for where she is at. But you also invite her to know Jesus and his everlasting peace. So we'll written, 👍

Before I became a Christian, I was also involved in the new age movement. What you wrote about her taking her time and energy to support you in the way she thought you needed was something I also experienced. I turned away from all that stuff many years ago, but reading this reminded me how difficult it is to find Christians who are willing to put their time and energy into supporting one another, supporting me. My whole life is about God, but often feel unwelcome in His family. So I pray, and the Lord holds me and cares for me.

Amen to this: "All the answers I needed, all the love I always longed for, all the peace I so craved, were found in the face of Jesus, in the ink of the most Holy book, the Word, the Bible. It changed everything."

For me too, but I'd add the sweet gift of the Holy Spirit, who has given me back my love of the Word, lifting away the terror of spiritual abuse, from when Scripture was turned into a weapon against me. By the grace of God, I've come to love and rest in Scriptures that I once shook in terror from. Now, I can't live without the Word. He is my life.

So thankful for God's extravagant mercy. May I never forget the depths of that mercy to me and be His love and mercy together with you to all those caught in darkness.

Thank you for being God's heart to us here in your honesty and transparency and stirring my heart for several I know caught in this. Praying for wisdom and discernment so much.

Praise God that He is able to redeem even the pain and confusion of my loved ones and restore unto them their hope, faith and love in Him, revealing who He truly is. May I never forget that He did it for me, so He can do it for them too. Thank You, Jesus!

I appreciate your honesty and pray that your words will strike a chord for so many others seeking fulfillment in things that will never, ever satisfy. Jesus only can make us white as now.

Thank you so much for this. The kindness you hold within your vulnerability is amazing. I hope this letter reaches her and others in similar places, with every confidence we can have that God can reach them. Every time I read or hear a story like yours it gets me emotional how incomprehensible God’s love for us is that he is always seeking, that we’re never too far from him. Praise God.

As one who went from atheism to Bible teacher and Bible study author, I can so relate! This is a beautiful and powerful testimony of how God redeems even to the outermost. May Kim's eyes be opened to Truth, as well!
