I am in a season of God revealing to me that I’d been distracting myself away from acknowledging the postpartum OCD I’ve been experiencing. If there’s ever been a period in my life of acknowledging that I am strongest with Him when I am weakest, it is now. As I’ve spent much time the last few days wrestling with this reckoning, crying out for Him, and begging for deliverance, this particular paragraph has given me a feast. Thank you.
“It’s difficult to explain. It’s miraculous. It’s refinement. It’s Him. His grace. His all knowing, powerful hand over our lives. Forcing the inexplicable to be explained. That in the midst of the storm, in the midst of the wilderness, there is Jesus, there is fruit, there is oil, there is evidence that He is with you, and while your circumstances barely change, you yourself are mightily transformed. And you look more like Jesus Himself. Who yearned for the Father’s presence more than a change in circumstances. Who surrendered to the Father’s will, and lived in perfect obedience, over any human desire.”
I'm so sorry to hear about how you've been struggling with postpartum OCD. I am confident that all your prayers are heard. It's good for me to be reminded of what God is growing in the losses and storms, a child better reflecting his character. And that comes with a heart turned toward Him in adoration, and human will laid down.
Simple and deep. And a necessary reminder.
"I am always with you " - a beautiful promise, and it brings to mind what the Lord showed me recently;
"You are always with Me, and all that I have is yours. " (are we not written on His hands?)

This is so neat! God really showed that He is always with you. He did that last weekend for me with last minute trip to London. It's so neat how our Heavenly Father shows His care.
I'm not sure why, exactly, but I welled up reading this. There's something about the way the Lord shows up to us personally and individually that tells us He loves us -- and that gets me every time. And there's an extra magic in writing about it; because even though I don't know you, I felt so much joy for you knowing you are loved by the God of all.

I actually just got a job at a beautiful thrift store so this spoke to my heart. He really meets us where we are and never leaves us.🫶🏼
